Aloe Vera: The Hero Plant

aloe-vera-plants.jpg

This incredible herb (plant) is considered a hero in Ayurveda for its unique ability to nourish all bodily tissues and regulate all three doshas.

The rejuvenating effects of Aloe helps to maintain youthfulness, radiant skin, strong digestion and balanced feminine cycles ( menstruation & menopause).

The juice and gel of the inner leaf are appropriate for all body types and helps to fuel digestion through Aloe’s bitter effect, which helps to release bile from the liver.

Digestion plays a huge role in skin and gynecological health, two areas that Aloe specifically benefits.

Aloe’s naturally cooling quality helps relieve inflammation and irritation in the intestines. This helps to improve gastric and intestinal function.

Drinking Aloe daily helps maintain smooth digestion and balanced metabolism.

Smooth Digestion is your bodies ability to expel all food waste from the 3 routes of elimination. These routes are sweat, urine and feces. Paying special attention to these three channels can tell us a lot about our state of digestion.

Proper elimination naturally cleanses build up of toxins in the blood stream. This directly supports clear skin and pain free menstrual cycles because of bloods connection to both systems of skin and gynecology.

When menstrual cycles are balanced, menopause becomes a much smoother transition.
